2001 Hermes Haut à Courroies HAC 32 Black Ardennes.

History: The “OG” Birkin before the Birkin arrived. A collector’s piece, especially in the smaller 32 size and coveted Ardennes leather. The HAC was created in 1892 by Hermes, and currently Hermes only offers the HAC in larger luggage style sizes of 40-65cm. The HAC looks very similar to a Birkin, but the handles are higher and the bag is taller. It is more similar in specs and look to the Birkin 30 than the B35. The Hac 32 width is a little bigger than a Birkin 30.

This bag comes with Dustbag (new dustbag, because it was recently Spa’d by Hermes) , original small brown velour dustbag for the accessories, keys , lock, clochette.

E Square blindstamp for 2001.

Condition : 8.5/10 Great Vintage condition, spa’d at some point as the bag looks great and it has a courtesy card from Japan Hermes saying it was spa’d, no corner wear. A noticeable scratch on the front middle of the bag as pointed out in the photos. The scratch isn’t “as” noticeable after using a leather conditioner. Light faint scratches here and there on the body, I noted any visible ones in the photo. Hairline scratches on the hardware.

Interior is clean, pockets look great.
